The subtotal is already heavier than many complete military fighting loads. It also creates a storage problem before it creates a strength problem: the Barrett alone is about 1.45 meters long, while a rocket launcher and shotgun cannot disappear into normal trousers.

How the Pistol and SMG Numbers Were Calculated

Glock lists the G17 Gen5 at 708 g with an empty magazine and 945 g with a loaded 17-round magazine. The difference is 237 g.

237 g ÷ 17 rounds = approximately 13.9 g per loaded 9 mm cartridge

HK lists the MP5A3 at 6.45 lb without a magazine and its empty 30-round magazine at 0.37 lb. Adding 30 representative 9 mm cartridges produces a loaded estimate of approximately 3.51 kg.

The rifle-magazine figure uses a US Army statement that a seven-magazine, 210-round M4 combat load weighs 7.4 lb. The .50-caliber estimate is deliberately rounded: Nammo lists polymer-cased .50-caliber cartridges at roughly 90–94 g and describes them as up to 30 percent lighter than conventional brass-cased ammunition.

The shotgun-shell values are an engineering assumption rather than an official GTA value. Different shell lengths and payloads change the result.

The problem is therefore not whether a strong person could lift 75 kg once. The problem is running, changing direction, climbing fences, swimming, fighting, falling, entering small cars and repeating those actions for hours.

Why the Ammunition Becomes the Real Monster

The representative calculation uses less than 500 conventional firearm cartridges, six spare 40 mm rounds and two spare rockets. A late-game GTA inventory can display much larger ammunition numbers.

Using the same assumptions:

Could a GTA Character Still Run?

Not in the way GTA characters run.

Army research on loaded movement specifically examines running, stopping, jumping and changing direction because heavy loads alter how people move. Walking slowly for a short distance is a different challenge from sprinting through traffic, performing a combat roll and immediately aiming a precision rifle.
