Vehicle Evidence Registry
Current position: Rockstar has not published a complete Grand Theft Auto VI vehicle roster. It has officially named a smaller set of vehicles through the GTA VI media library and edition material. This page records those names separately from vehicles that are merely visible in trailers or screenshots.
A car can be visible without its fictional make or model being confirmed. GTA6DATA does not promote a fan identification into a fact because the silhouette looks familiar.
Registry version: 2026.07.26 | Last verified: July 26, 2026
Vehicle Evidence Levels
| Level | Definition | Allowed wording |
|---|---|---|
| V1 — Official name | Rockstar labels the vehicle with a make or model name in official GTA VI material. | Officially named for GTA VI. |
| V2 — Official class | Official footage clearly shows a vehicle class, but no make or model label is published. | An SUV is visible, not this is model X. |
| V3 — Visual identification | An editor proposes a fictional or real-world identity from design evidence. | Possible identification, with reasons and alternatives. |
| V4 — Rumor | A roster claim has no verifiable official label or reproducible evidence. | Excluded from the confirmed registry. |

What the Labels Prove — and What They Do Not
| Label | Safe conclusion | Conclusion that goes too far |
|---|---|---|
| ’95 Grotti Cheetah | A vehicle with that label is connected to the GTA VI Ultimate Edition material. | Every visible Cheetah-like car in a trailer is this exact model. |
| ’55 Vapid Stanier | The named vehicle appears in the Vintage Vice City Pack media set. | The Stanier is automatically part of every base-game garage or traffic table. |
| Classic Car Collection | Rockstar markets a group of classic-car items under that name. | Fan-proposed names for every pictured car are official. |
| Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles | A safehouse-related vehicle group is part of the promoted Ultimate material. | The images reveal the complete ownership or storage system. |

GTA6DATA Identification Method
- Start with official labels. Media captions and product names outrank visual resemblance.
- Separate make, model and variant. Confirming Vapid does not automatically confirm Stanier, and confirming Stanier does not identify every year or trim.
- Record alternatives. A visual identification must list plausible competing IDs rather than presenting one favorite as certain.
- State the asset scope. Edition marketing, pre-order packs, trailer traffic and base-game availability are different claims.
- Preserve rejected IDs. When stronger evidence disproves an identification, the change belongs in the log.
